Biography

Sarah is an experienced strategic leader with a reputation for delivering innovative Change. Sarah has worked in public, private and charity sectors, the bulk of her career in London’s local government.

Sarah is near unique in having held senior leadership positions as both an elected member and senior officer and knows how to get things done.

As leader of Camden Council Sarah oversaw major regeneration schemes, including the self funded Community Investment Programme. A major long term regeneration programme that continues to deliver new housing, communities spaces and social infrastructure across Camden. The homes meet a range of housing needs. Sarah also pioneered research and policy thinking to tackle London’s housing crisis and centred equalities, equity and inclusion to ensure fairer access to homes, jobs, education and other opportunities for Camden’s diverse communities.

Sarah is passionate delivering change that improves people’s lives and The Key’s innovative model of key worker housing delivery will do just that – by ensuring greater workforce stability and ultimately better public services.
