Quentin Zentner

Biography

Quentin has three decades experience of building enduring businesses. An English qualified solicitor, beginning his career as a corporate finance partner at Pinsent Masons he subsequently joined private equity business Nikko Principal Investments. There he dual-hatted as General Counsel and private equity partner.

During his eight years at Nikko, he worked with the boards of the underlying Private Equity businesses helping build and realise value. He was also a director of a joint venture with property developers, Coravest, successfully developing brownfield sites in the UK.

For the last 10 years, Quentin has been part of the executive leadership team of Phoenix Group Holdings Plc, the UK’s leading life and pensions provider. As General Counsel and a member of Phoenix Group’s Executive Committee since 2015, Quentin has been part of an impactful team that has steered Phoenix from a FTSE 250 company to a social purpose-driven FTSE 100 business.
